Welcome to:

DICKENS BRITISH MUSEUM is located in the heart of the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. The museum is  dedicated to the golden years of the British way of life. It is named after one of England’s most prolific writers CHARLES DICKENS. Fred & Anne Hails, the curators, have spent many years collecting unique items and memorabilia to create fascinating and factual exhibits, including the history of the British Royal Family and the sinking of the Titanic. The collection also includes a World War II display featuring the life of Sir Winston Churchill and an impressive “war room”. On the lighter side, the museum takes you on a visit to the village of Aidensfield as featured in the T.V. drama “Heartbeat”.  Memory Lane continues throughout the 10.000 sq.ft. “Emporium” for you to enjoy. Complete your journey with a visit to “Oliver’s Tea Room” for a nice “cuppa” before touring Dickens own British Sweets and Grocery shop. Truly a memorable occasion for all local and out of town visitors.
